Marché de Saint-Maixent-l’Ecole

The market of Saint-Maixent l'École is one of the most important of the Deux-Sèvres department. It attracts a considerable crowd in town every Saturday morning and contributes actively to the animation of the shopping streets, especially during the summer period.
It is held on Saturday mornings under the covered market (Place du Marché) and along the Jacques Fouchier alleys.
